Actividad en el viñedo y la Enoteca Qubél

En Qubél, vamos preparándonos para las siguientes actividades. En algunos casos, somos nosotros los promotores, en otros, distintas organizaciones nos quieren como anfitriones. Aquí tenéis un adelanto: En agosto: – Taller de iniciación a la Geometría Sagrada, impartido por Carlos Martín La Moneda, arquitecto y creador del Jardín de Rocas de Alafranca, de Zaragoza. ” la Geometría tiene la capacidad de unir, unir en equilibrio los extremos, los opuestos, creando “entornos vibratorios” ordenados…”

En septiembre: - Días de vendimia. La lluvia de primavera y este verano amable están augurando una buena cosecha. La recogida de la labor del año es siempre una fiesta y la queremos compartir.

En octubre: – Masterclass con Ricardo Sanz de Kabuki Wellington, Madrid Recibiremos a nuestro amigo Ricardo Sanz, tres estrellas Michelín, para que imparta una clase magistral de corte y preparación de pescado (que luego degustaremos).

– Taller de iniciación a lectura de los Registros Akáshicos, impartido por Ana María Angueira Quintás, cofundadora de la Escuela de Enseñanzas de los Registros Akáshicos, de Santiago de Compostela. “Los Registros Akáshicos son una memoria universal de la existencia, un espacio multidimensional dónde se archivan todas las experiencias del alma incluyendo todos los conocimientos y las experiencias de las vidas pasadas, la vida presente y las potencialidades futuras.”

End of Harvest and Organic (Eco) Paradox

In the middle of August, the hardest months of the year, when the sun and the crisis are felt more, I was told by a good friend of mine with deep convictions that, despite of all uncertainties, we have abundance around us. At first glance it left me somehow confused, but much later, when I opened a water tap and filled with excess my needs, then I understood his words. I understood that wealth is out there where ever you want to search for it.

The harvest this year has been somewhat scarce everywhere, although nature has dedicated great efforts and the plants have given out everything of themselves to provide the best quality for a final product and in this case I see again the generosity of natural resources, provided man do not demand too to much from the plants. And the question arises again ?Abundance ? Yes, Nature gives away everything it has and more…

There are several reasons why this year’s production has been weakened: one was being the summer so dry that has conditioned the vine. The second was for the dreaded Mildew, a fungus that strongly proliferates when temperature and humidity conditions are appropriate, this will outcome the harvest.

How it has affected us? Nothing bad has happened to us and I call this phenomenon “The Organic (eco) Paradox”, the fact is fascinating, and this is an issue that scholars who deal with pests should pronounce themselves. In our case only the ecological preventive measures we have done, has given us the results that Mildew did not develop in our vines, but other neighbors and in our vicinity regions that have treated their vines with curing and preventing systemic products, that means penetrating chemical products that circulates through the vascular pathways of the plant, had suffered the plague and some to a large extent.

Los rigores de la ciencia no permiten sacar conclusiones hasta no haber observado el mismo fenómeno por lo menos en tres experiencias. Pero yo, lejos del mundo de la investigación, creo que el hecho es lo suficientemente significativo como para plantear esta paradoja y dirigirme en particular al sabio profesor Donato Herranz, conocedor de todos los bichos que nos acechan, que fue quien me inspiró y me dio las herramientas para ser ecológico. Donato, por favor, danos una explicación…  

The rigors of science do not allow to withdraw any conclusions from this fact until it has been observed the same phenomenon in at least three different experiences (three years.) But me, being away from the research center, I think this fact is sufficiently significant to raise a question about the paradox and I address the question to Professor Donato Herranz, he knows all what has to be known about bugs and vine pests; in his lectures he was the first who inspired me and gave me the tools to be Organic(Eco) producer.. Donato, please give us an explanation to the Paradox …

And the other question is: How is it coming this year vintage?, Honestly I have no magic crystal ball, but everything looks good so far, analytics are great, amazing color and aromas, but you know … until the wine isn’t bottled and tightly corked, I don’t like to say much…
