It is the time of publication of annual wine guides, and we want to emphasize the comments on Qubél.
We thank Alexandra Bülow, a German journalist who writes for the newspaper Die Welt, and who has visited us recently, the words he devoted in his article on the wines of Madrid and Juan Fernández Cuesta with his poetry review in Diario ABC.

Christmas Catalog 2010
The Enoteca is getting ready for Christmas. Although the global economy is not going very well, we do not want our friends and customers miss a good Qubél or Mayrit this year. Therefore we have prepared some presents at a very special price, withoutstanding wines and another very good product of our region, the cheese from Campo Real.

Congratulations to Atlanta Viajes
We want to congratulate one of our collaborating travel agencies, Atlanta Viajes, on their recent winning bid to be the subcontractor in charge of the familiarization trips for the tourism promotion board, Turismo Madrid. Atlanta, one of the largest destination management companies in Spain, has always included Enoteca Qubél in the possible activities for their clients in Madrid, and we hope to continue to serving them and their visitors. Wine tourism Madrid. Telemadrid visits us
The concept of Qubél implies a complete project revolving around nature that permits involving our clients through not only a product or service, but also through emotions. As one-step more within this project initiated by the family Gosálbez-Orti, the visitor’s center Enoteca Qubél was created. Here we can share, in an imaginative way, our oenological experience and all of which, related to nature, ecology or gastronomy, that help us reach a state of pleasure.
Enoteca Qubél is a visitor’s center that includes the sale of our products, a meeting room and a facility for ageing bottled wine. It is located in the center of the village Pozuelo del Rey in the province of Madrid, about 100 meters from the winery and 5 kilometers from the vineyard, all of which is only 35 minutes away from the center of the city Madrid.
It is a place for the discovery, the education and the enjoyment of the senses associated with wine, gastronomy and nature.
The Enoteca offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a space where the traditional style architecture and the building materials natural to a rural setting, mix with innovative design and equipment. Meanwhile, the decoration incorporates noble and antique elements with practical ones to facilitate our activities.
The basement an area where we store and age bottled wine, that has become a wonderful cellar-type environment for groups to have a glass of wine and tapas.
The ground floor with its homey atmosphere serves for display and sales of our products, as well as a relaxed tasting area. The second floor a multi-purpose gathering room with room for 24 seated guests, outfitted with multimedia equipment and a kitchen for demonstrations.
We would like to propose a quality oenotourism and ecotourism offer only 30 minutes from the center of Madrid with the following activities:• Receive visitors who wish to tour the winery
• The sale of wine, accessories and other local and artisanal products from the world of wine and gastronomy.
• A classroom with courses, demonstrations and meetings on wine related themes, gastronomy, and nature.
• Rental of the facilities and its equipment for events and meetings
• On demand and organization of tasting and classes, tailored to the clients wishes.
The Enoteca was meant to compliment the project that started with the winery and the production of the Qubél and Mayrit wines, and we wish it to be a meeting place for the friends of Qubél.

Wines of Madrid Fair
This year, Wines of Madrid held their annual presentation in the Presidential Balcony in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium where the Real Madrid football team is headquartered. It is a more luminous and modern space, though smaller than the Hotel Palace, the usual venue.
We always like to invite all of our friends to visit us at the fair, but the prescience of 30 wineries this year in a smaller space forced the D.O. Vinos de Madrid to restrict the guest list to sector professionals and the press.
Even so, we would like to include you in the act by including the press release and reminding all of our friends and clients that our door are always open at the winery for you to try our new wines.
